Day 1 Beijing On arrival, tour guide will hold a welcome sign to meet you outside the luggage lobby. You will be transferred to the hotel on a room and breakfast basis. The rest of the day is free for you to relax.
Day 2 Beijing (B+L+D) You will visit the Tian'anmen Square-the biggest of its kind in the world, and the Forbidden City (Imperial Palace)-which locates in the heart of Beijing, is the largest and most complete imperial palace and ancient building complex in China. And you will also visit the Temple of Heaven, which itself has become a symbol of the city. In the afternoon, you will continue to visit the Summer Palace, the most beautiful imperial garden in China. Transfer back to your hotel at the end of the program. After dinner you will enjoy a fascinating Peking Opera Show at the Liyuan Theatre.
Day 3 Beijing (B+L+D) You will go to the Great Wall-Badaling Section, which is the world's longest human-made structure, stretching over approximately 6,400 km (3,977 mi). It is also the largest human-made structure ever built in terms of surface area and mass. In the afternoon, you will also go to the Ming Tombs area and visit the most famous emperor's mausoleum of Ming Dynasty with 500 years history-Chang Tomb. Transfer back to your hotel at the end of the program. In the evening, you will have a dinner served at the original, century-old Quanjude Roasted Duck Restaurant.
Day 4 Beijing – Chengde (B+L) Transfer to the train to Chengde in the morning. After lunch, go by private car to the Imperial Summer Villa, located in the city of Chengde in northeastern Hebei Province, is China's largest imperial garden.
Day 5 Chengde (B+L) Go to the Temple of Universal Peace is the furthest north of the eight remaining outer temples of Chengde. The temple has also in its time been known as the Big Buddha Temple. You will also visit the Putuo Temple, is the largest of the eight remaining outer temples in Chengde, with an area of 220,000 square meters. Then have a tour in the Pule Temple, lies on the hillside, and two kilometers to the east of the Wulie River in Chengde City.
Day 6 Chengde to Beijing (B+L) Visit the Xumifushou Temple (Temple of Sumeru Happiness and Longevity), lies on the northern mountain of the Lion Gully in the northern Mountain Summer Resort in Chengde. After lunch, transfer to the Train Station for an afternoon train back to Beijing, and finish the tour. |
