Day 1 Beijing On arrival, tour guide will hold a welcome sign to meet you outside the luggage lobby. You will be transferred to the hotel on a room and breakfast basis. The rest of the day is free for you to relax.
Day 2 Beijing (B+L+D) You will visit the Tian'anmen Square-the biggest of its kind in the world, and the Forbidden City (Imperial Palace)-which locates in the heart of Beijing, is the largest and most complete imperial palace and ancient building complex in China. And you will also visit the Temple of Heaven, which itself has become a symbol of the city. In the afternoon, you will continue to visit the Summer Palace, the most beautiful imperial garden in China. Transfer back to your hotel at the end of the program. After dinner you will enjoy a fascinating Peking Opera Show at the Liyuan Theatre.
Day 3 Beijing (B+L+D) You will go to the Great Wall-Badaling Section, which is the world's longest human-made structure, stretching over approximately 6,400 km (3,977 mi). It is also the largest human-made structure ever built in terms of surface area and mass. In the afternoon, you will also go to the Ming Tombs area and visit the most famous emperor's mausoleum of Ming Dynasty with 500 years history-Chang Tomb. Transfer back to your hotel at the end of the program. In the evening, you will have a dinner served at the original, century-old Quanjude Roasted Duck Restaurant.
Day 4 Beijing – Xi’an (B) Transfer to the flight to Xi’an. Arrive in Xi'an and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the city.
Day 5 Xi'an (B+L) You will visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum-the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century and the eighth wonder of the world. You will also go to the Banpo Museum-the site of a typical Neolithic matriarchal community of the Yangshao Culture. The history of the museum can be dated back 6000 years. Then visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda-one of the most famous Buddhist pagodas in China. The temple was built about 648 AD by the order of Emperor Gao Zong, the third emperor of the Tang Dynasty. Transfer back to hotel after finish the program.
Day 6 Xi’an - Hangzhou (B) Transfer to the flight to Hangzhou. Arrive in Shanghai and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the city.
Day 7 Hangzhou (B+L) You will visit West Lake which is always compared to Xi Zi, the most beautiful woman in ancient China. You will also go to National Tea Museum and Lingyin Temple which is is without doubt a premier showpiece in the West Lake environs and is notable also as one of the ten most famous Buddhist temples of China. Then you'll be trandferred back to the hotel to have a rest.
Day 8 Hangzhou - Wuxi (B+L) You will visit Six Harmonies Pagoda which is standing by the Qiantang River in Hangzhou, the Pagoda of Six Harmonies has for hundreds of years been praised by poets and men of letters. It is also one of the true masterpieces of ancient Chinese architectures. Then take a train to Wuxi. Arrive at Wuxi and transfer to the hotel.
Day 9 Wuxi (B+L)
You will visit the Turtle Head Peninsular Park and have a short cruise on Taihu Lake, which rank the 3rd of the five largest freshwater lakes in china. Continued enjoy in the Liyuan Garden which is one of the famous gardens for lake scenery in China and was formerly Fanli's residence.
Day 10 Wuxi (B+L)
Visit Lingshan Buddha, the world tallest copper standing statue of Sakyamuni. In the afternoon, go to Jichang Garden, one of china’s most outstanding classical gardens.
Day 11 Shanghai (B+L)
You will visit the Jade Buddha Temple-where two rare jade statues of Sakyamuni Buddha is treasured, and the Yu Garden- a classical garden in downtown Shanghai, boasts a history over 400 years. Each pavilion, hall, stone and stream in the garden is expressing the quintessence of South China landscape design from Ming and Qing Dynasty. In the afternoon, you will go to the Shanghai Museum-located in the center of Shanghai in People's Square; it is a large museum of ancient Chinese art. The museum style and presentation surround visitors with artifacts demonstrating ancient wisdom and philosophy. The exterior design of the round dome and the square base symbolizes the ancient idea of a round heaven and a square land. And then take a walk along the famous waterfront-Bund-to fully appreciate this diverse city.
Day 12 Shanghai (B) Transfer to the airport for your homeland with a memorable tour in China. |
