Day 1 Beijing
On arrival, tour guide will hold a welcome sign to meet you outside the luggage lobby.
You will be transferred to the hotel on a room and breakfast basis.
The rest of the day is free for you to relax.
Day 2 Beijing (B+L+D)
You will visit the Tian'anmen Square-the biggest of its kind in the world, and the Forbidden City (Imperial Palace)-which locates in the heart of Beijing, is the largest and most complete imperial palace and ancient building complex in China. And you will also visit the Temple of Heaven, which itself has become a symbol of the city. In the afternoon, you will continue to visit the Summer Palace, the most beautiful imperial garden in China. Transfer back to your hotel at the end of the program. After dinner you will enjoy a fascinating Peking Opera Show at the Liyuan Theatre.
Day 3 Beijing (B+L+D)
You will go to the Great Wall-Badaling Section, which is the world's longest human-made structure, stretching over approximately 6,400 km (3,977 mi). It is also the largest human-made structure ever built in terms of surface area and mass. In the afternoon, you will also go to the Ming Tombs area and visit the most famous emperor's mausoleum of Ming Dynasty with 500 years history-Chang Tomb. Transfer back to your hotel at the end of the program. In the evening, you will have a dinner served at the original, century-old Quanjude Roasted Duck Restaurant.
Day 4 Beijing – Xi’an (B)
Transfer to the flight to Xi’an.
Arrive in Xi'an and transfer to the hotel.
The rest of the day is free for you to explore the city.
Day 5 Xi'an (B+L)
You will visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum-the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century and the eighth wonder of the world. You will also go to the Banpo Museum-the site of a typical Neolithic matriarchal community of the Yangshao Culture. The history of the museum can be dated back 6000 years. Then visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda-one of the most famous Buddhist pagodas in China. The temple was built about 648 AD by the order of Emperor Gao Zong, the third emperor of the Tang Dynasty. Transfer back to hotel after finish the program.
Day 6 Xi’an - Wuxi (B)
Transfer to the flight to Wuxi.
Arrive in Wuxi and transfer to the hotel.
The rest of the day is free for you to explore the city.
Day 7 Wuxi (B+L)
You will visit the Turtle Head Peninsular Park and have a short cruise on Taihu Lake, which rank the 3rd of the five largest freshwater lakes in china. Continued enjoy in the Liyuan Garden which is one of the famous gardens for lake scenery in China and was formerly Fanli's residence.
Day 8 Wuxi (B+L)
Visit Lingshan Buddha, the world tallest copper standing statue of Sakyamuni. In the afternoon, go to Jichang Garden, one of china’s most outstanding classical gardens.
Day 9 Shanghai (B+L)
You will visit the Jade Buddha Temple-where two rare jade statues of Sakyamuni Buddha is treasured, and the Yu Garden- a classical garden in downtown Shanghai, boasts a history over 400 years. Each pavilion, hall, stone and stream in the garden is expressing the quintessence of South China landscape design from Ming and Qing Dynasty. In the afternoon, you will go to the Shanghai Museum-located in the center of Shanghai in People's Square; it is a large museum of ancient Chinese art. The museum style and presentation surround visitors with artifacts demonstrating ancient wisdom and philosophy. The exterior design of the round dome and the square base symbolizes the ancient idea of a round heaven and a square land. And then take a walk along the famous waterfront-Bund-to fully appreciate this diverse city.
Day 10 Shanghai - Guilin (B)
Transfer to the flight to Guilin.
Arrive in Guilin and transfer to the hotel.
The rest of the day is free for you to explore the city.
Day 11 Guilin (B+L)
You will visit the Elephant Trunk Hill- The shape of the hill is just like a huge elephant drinking water from the river with its trunk, so it is called Elephant Trunk Hill. You will also go to the Reed Flute Cave- Illuminated by colored lighting, the fantastic spectacle is found in many variations along this 240-meter-long cave. Walking through the serried stone pillars, tourists feast their eyes on changing spots, feeling they are in a paradise where the Gods live. Then visit the Seven Stars Park- the park is endowed with elegant mountains, clear water, miraculous stone forest, deep and serene valleys, plentiful animals and plants and valued cultural relics. Transfer back to hotel after finish the program.
Day 12 Guilin (B+L)
You will transfer to the pier, take a scenic river cruise along the Li River with its peaceful senerity and jagged limestone peaks. Gorgeous Karst peaks give you surprises at each bend of the limpid river under the blue sky. Water buffalo patrol the fields, peasants reap rice paddies, school kids and fisherman float by on bamboo rafts. With its breathtaking scenery and taste of a life far removed from the concrete metropolis, the scenery along the Li River become one of China's top tourist destinations. You will have free time in Yangshuo to explore and peruse the local shops and markets. The driver will take you back to Guilin when the tour ended.
Day 13 Guilin – Guangzhou (B)
Transfer to the flight to Guangzhou.
Arrive in Guangzhou and transfer to the hotel.
The rest of the day is free for you to explore the city.
Day 14 Guangzhou (B+L)
Visit the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall which is the most important relic in Guangdong Province. It was built for Dr. Sun Yat-sen after his death in 1925 and was completed in October of 1931. Then you will go to see the Temple of Six Banyan Trees. Transfer to the hotel when your whole trip is over. |
