Day 1 Shanghai Arrive in Shanghai and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the city.
Day 2 Shanghai (B+L) You will visit the Jade Buddha Temple-where two rare jade statues of Sakyamuni Buddha is treasured, and the Yu Garden- a classical garden in downtown Shanghai, boasts a history over 400 years. Each pavilion, hall, stone and stream in the garden is expressing the quintessence of South China landscape design from Ming and Qing Dynasty. In the afternoon, you will go to the Shanghai Museum-located in the center of Shanghai in People's Square; it is a large museum of ancient Chinese art. The museum style and presentation surround visitors with artifacts demonstrating ancient wisdom and philosophy. The exterior design of the round dome and the square base symbolizes the ancient idea of a round heaven and a square land. And then take a walk along the famous waterfront-Bund-to fully appreciate this diverse city.
Day 3 Shanghai – Suzhou (B+L) Take a train to Suzhou and transfer to the hotel. Go to Tiger Hill which is known for its natural beauty as well as historical sites and it has been a tourist destination for hundreds, if not thousands, of years, as is evident from the poetry and calligraphy carved into rocks on the hill. Then you will visit Humble Administrator's Garden, which is the largest garden in Suzhou, the finest garden in southern China and one of four great Chinese gardens. No other classic garden in the country has been honored more than this one.
Day 2 Suzhou – Wuxi (B+L) Visit the Master-of-Nets Garden- Measuring only about half a hectare in area, the garden is compactly laid out, with halls, corridors and pavilions well positioned, living space and gardens closely combined, and every part of the garden joined in an integrated whole. Then go to Wuxi by train. Then go to the Turtle Head Peninsula Park, have a short cruise on Taihu Lake, which rank the 3rd of the five largest freshwater lakes in china.
Day 3 Wuxi - Nanjing (B+L) Visit Lingshan Buddha, the world tallest copper standing statue of Sakyamuni. In the afternoon, go to Jichang Garden, one of china’s most outstanding classical gardens. Take a train to Nanjing then transfer to the hotel.
Day 6 Nanjing (B+L) You will take a day guided explore to the Mausoleum of Sun Yat Sen, whom is China's founding father. And visit Nanjing Presidential Palace. Then go to the Confucius Temple which is the place of worshipping and offering sacrifices to Confucius, the great philosopher and educator of ancient China.
Day 7 Nanjing - Hangzhou (B) Transfer to take train from Nanjing to Hangzhou in the afternoon. On arrival you will be transferred to the hotel. The rest of the day is on your own to explore the city.
Day 8 Hangzhou (B+L) You will have a short cruise on the scenic West Lake. And explore The Leifeng Tower. And view the Fish at Flower Harbor and the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon of the West Lake.
Day 9 Hangzhou – Shanghai (B+L) Take a day tour to the Lingyin Temple–the biggest Buddhist Temple in the southern China. And explore to the Six Harmonies Pagoda, a masterpiece of ancient architecture. After lunch, transfer to the railway station to take the train to Shanghai. Transfer to airport for your hometown with a memorable tour in China. |
