Wuxi Jinqiao Bilingual Experimental School will open a new campus in Taihu New Town. On July 24, the groundbreaking ceremony for the new campus was held.
The school, with a total investment of 170 million yuan, covers a floor area of 36,500 sq m. the main building is expected to be put into use next fall, allowing for 42 classes and 2,000 students.
Meanwhile, Wuxi Taihu International Expo Center Phase II Project was also launched. The project, with a total investment of about 1 billion yuan, covers a fllor area of 120,000 sq m. When it is finished ,the total floor area of Wuxi Taihu International Expo Center will reach 210,000 sq m. The center is able to meet the need for exhibitions of various kinds, further raising the standards of the city's economy.
